EasComp

Hi!

Over the past week, I have been developing a piece of software on Visual Basic. Bare in mind that this is my first ever piece of software/tool that I have developed on VB and graphic design is not a strong point of mine.

I was thinking and thought "why is accessing your computers information and carrying out certain tasks so long winded and buried?" and then I came up with the idea of developing something that made accessing your computer's information so much simpler and carrying out tasks, such as clearing your temporary data folder or deleting old Windows Update files, require less work to execute these commands. Then, I thought again, what if a person unsure about using a computer accidentally runs one of these commands, that's why tasks that could be deemed "harmful" to the computer require a login, helping to eliminate any accidental data deletion from occurring.

EasComp is laid out in a simple to understand layout, with jargon-free buttons and will hopefully be full of community suggestions (as it is for the community) and expanding the knowledge of those who do not understand computers too well.

I feel EasComp makes long tasks short which is great for someone who doesn't have a lot of time or are wanting access to information all on the place of one screen.

Obviously, it is still a work in progress. At the moment, I wouldn't even consider selling it as a product, as this is my first ever VB project as I said previously. I'm just here to learn, not make money. Knowing that this could actually be a help to people is enough for me.
